Finding and implementing the optimal method for perpendicular cut wires. The wires are cut and accurately assembled as coils for sensors with tolerances of ±20μm. The use of a femtosecond USP laser resulted in perpendicular cuts. The machine is capable of mechanical positioning with tolerances of ±50μm. The fixation of the coils is done by using needle adhesive dispensing and fast UV-curing. The typical cycle time of a product is 2.4 seconds. The entire process is monitored by 100% inline inspection of value added processes.
